Firm Overview

Every client has a different background and a different story; therefore, each client must be treated as an individual. Since the impact of workplace conflicts is so important, and can be devastating personally and professionally, it is very rewarding to be able to assist in the resolution of those problems, thereby making a difference in people's lives.

Patti R. Roberts has extensive experience as a negotiator as well as a litigator. This expertise is especially important, since so many workplace matters are resolved by negotiated settlement and not by trial.

Patti R. Roberts has represented employees in virtually all aspects of employment law, including cases of race, sex, religion, national original, sexual orientation, age and disability discrimination, sexual harassment, wrongful termination, breach of contract, family medical leave, as well as labor code violations and wage and hour claims. She's successfully negotiated many severance packages, and her former work as a labor representative provides experience in the negotiating contracts and handling many different types of workplace disputes.

In addition to representing clients in both state and federal courts throughout the Bay Area, she has successfully represented employees before the State Personnel Board, local Civil Service Commissions, Merit System Protection Board, and the Unemployment Insurance Department.
