Patti R. Roberts is a graduate of the University of California, Berkeley (Boalt Hall) Law School. Prior to law school she graduated with a B.A. Degree in Political Science from Brooklyn College of the City University of New York.

Currently as Adjunct Professor at San Francisco State's Paralegal Certificate Program and San Francisco Community College's Labor Studies Program, where she teaches Legal Research and Writing, as well as Employment and Labor Law.
